Liang Chen's FIRST Award proposal "Rural-Urban Surface Heterogeneity in Regional Cilmate Extremes of the U.S. Great Plains" has been approved for funding by Nebraska EPSCoR, which is supported by the National Science Foundation.
Chen is an assistant professor in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
